Aside from our 25th wedding anniversary, today is the 46th anniversary of America's first good look at the boys on Sullivan.
When Brian died the band was in India with Sexy Sadie, the Maharishi. Much disillusionment on the horizon.

Very true. Just read that part in the anthology book last night (Bangor meeting with Maharishi--they went to India a bit later, end of touring, Epstein lost and then losing it all). It was all part of a larger, inevitable maturation/break-up-in-the-works.
