Kerry's new role

ARTICLE: In Foreign Policy, a New Trio at the Top , By Anne E. Kornblut and Glenn Kessler, Washington Post, January 13, 2009; Page A01

As many of you know, I am a big John Kerry fan, voting for him in 2004 and believing we got his foreign policy anyway once the second Bush administration imploded (remember that when you hear the BS about Obama being the third Bush term on foreign policy). In the end, I do think it's better for Lincoln to have his Seward, despite the baggage. But Kerry suffers little in the shuffle, taking over the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, where he can do a lot of good too.

Good article.
