Here's to a speedy recovery!
On a more peculiar note, the other day I turned my father on to Tom's work and he is delving more into it now. But we happened to catch a documentary on the invasion and then occupation of Poland by the Nazis, and saw parallels between Leviathan/SysAdmin in Tom's work and with how the Nazis took Poland. I was a little dismayed at that, but the similarity was undeniable... just... uncomfortable.

Dammit, Barnett! Pace yourself!
(You get a decade of the rosary tonight, for a swift recovery from whatever it is.)

Your health is in my prayers. Your work has given me much calm and consolation about our future and the strategic perspective keeps me from freaking out.
We all wish you the best. Keep your priorities straight: you come first, then the family, then everything else, then the blog.
Looking forward to your return, keeping it within priority!
