The Established Poet

The established poet,

Seeks solace in pen and paper,

And finds meaning in unimportant things,

After all, each day has some new reason for being.

She captures it,

in words she tells us what we only feel . . .

And makes us aware of the obvious,

But it is only she who glimpses reality.
